Sierra Pelada and Rivera del Aserrador

The Sierra Pelada y Rivera of Sawyer is a place of medium altitudes ranging between 700 and 300 m, with steep landscapes that mix in the marked areas of ravines with steep slopes, with the landscape of meadow and river.
The flora is diverse, from grasslands, areas of lesions (rock rose, heather, arbutus ,...) and pastures with oak trees. There are also areas for afforestation of eucalyptus and pine.
Regarding the fauna, birds of prey, and all of them, the black vulture, the largest colony located here Andalusian of this species, which has led to the protection of this space. But there are other prey: griffon vulture, short-toed eagle, along with many mammals and reptiles.
