Its origin is Gothic-Mudejar, although it has undergone many transformations. A mid-sixteenth century stands on the left side a chapel and remodel the sanctuary. In the middle is done according to the works by Hernán Ruiz II, who set out to cover two large sections of the vessel with hemispherical domes, decorated with radial and concentric ribs. The chapels of the tabernacle and the baptismal are somewhat later. Eighteenth century is the work of strengthening the structure and the construction of the tower. In these works join in Pedro de Silva, Jose Tirado and Diego Zambrano. In the late nineteenth different rooms were attached to the south side. Inside the furnishings highlight the main altarpiece, the work of pictorial character of Juan de Zamora and Ortega Bernardino and dated 1546, paintings, silverware and some priestly robes.
