Located within the fortified enclosure. The earliest works date from the fourteenth century Gothic-Mudejar (chancel, tower, pillar cover the first leg and south). The work was continued in the second half of the fifteenth century, concluding the building. In 1755 J. Gabriel Gonzalez adds to the play a baroque boudoir where is the patron saint of Aracena, Our Lady of Mayor Dolor. The church was burnt down in 1936 but was later restored.
